Clostricare

Clostridium perfringens is a gram positive, spore forming, anaerobic bacteria. It causes Gangrenous Dermatitis or Wing Rot in layer growers. There is no specific antibiotic available for effective control of Clostridium perfringens. Wing Rot is a pathological condition of skin with haemorrhage and loss of feather. Infection is acquired from litter and ambience. There is sloughing of skin due to gangrene. Clostridium perfringens is a natural dormant resident bacteria in skin and intestine of poultry birds. Clostridium perfringens flare up under any immune suppressive conditions including CAV, IBD, Stress, mycotoxins etc. Coccidia infection also hastens the multiplication of Clostridium perfringens. A strong immune system is pre-requisit to reduce the incidences of Wing Rot. Mortality due to CAV in layer growers is aggravated due to Wing Rot. Clostricare is a purely natural anti-microbial formulation prepared from phyto-actives isolated from Neem, Garlic, Ajwain, Cinnamon, Daru haridra, Haldi, Camphor and other ayurvedic herbs. Clostricare controls sporulation of Clostridium perfringens into their active pathogenic form. Clostricare also limits the release of Net-B toxin from Clostridium perfringens. Besides Clostridium perfringens, Clostricare also limits the growth and multiplication of other gram positive and gram negative bacteria like Staphylococcus, E.coli, Salmonella etc.
